TheseusGame Studio

Independent Studio

We build small but unmistakable game experiences.

Theseus Game Studio focuses on clear systems, responsive interaction, and the kind of replay loop that makes players come back. Our current lineup centers on YINSH and an experimental side project called Slide Up.

Clarity

Easy to read, hard to master

We prefer rulesets that are readable at a glance but reveal more depth as the player improves. Simplicity on the surface should not mean a shallow experience.

Iteration

Fast feedback, steady refinement

We ship, observe, and tune. Product decisions are made around friction, flow, and what actually improves the feel of play rather than feature count.

Craft

Polish that earns another session

Readable UI, stable game flow, and strong moment-to-moment feedback matter to us. The experience should convince the player before any explanation does.

Projects

Two projects define the current Theseus track.

One is a live flagship title with real service operations behind it. The other is a smaller lane for testing interaction, pace, and new ideas with less overhead.

01Flagship Project

YINSH

Our main project combines the tension of competitive board strategy with the accessibility and continuity of a digital game service.

  • Competitive play built on clear rules and meaningful decision-making.
  • A real service stack spanning mobile, web, and internal operations.
  • Continuously refined around match flow, UX consistency, and service quality.
02Side Project

Slide Up

An experimental side project where we test tactile interaction, tempo, and the appeal of short, replayable sessions.

  • A smaller project used to validate core interaction quickly.
  • Designed around light onboarding and immediate feedback.
  • A practical lane for shaping ideas before deciding on broader expansion.

Perspective

We are not trying to stack features. We are trying to sharpen the feeling that makes someone want one more run.
